Founded with the same professional-grade technology as the Project K2 S9900, the JBL S4700 is one of the most advanced and sophisticated loudspeakers available today. Its attractive cast-frame 15-inch (380mm) woofer, 1.75-inch (45mm), and 0.75-inch (20mm) titanium compression drivers are arranged in a dual horn assembly for lifelike dynamics and startling realism.
The new woofer is cast-frame, featuring dual three-inch voice coils and a neodymium motor structure for excellent low-frequency extension and articulation with the two horn-loaded compression drivers. An innovative two-inch (175Nd-3) Aqua-Plas coated titanium diaphragm compression driver with a SonoGlass Bi-Radial horn delivers rich midrange and high frequencies with uncanny lifelike dynamics and stunning realism while the 0.75-inch (194Nd-2) ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) driver and a SonoGlass Bi-Radial one-piece horn recreate critical air and spaciousness for an immersive, three-dimensional listening experience.
